In 2013, Gaby Bayona took the Vancouver bridal industry by a storm with the launch of her unconventional Truvelle collection. Since then, Gaby Bayona has created four bridal collections and just this year, she has expanded her line to include social attire. Truvelle also collaborates with four different designers to make headpieces, jewelry and intimates.
Much like her wedding gown collection, Gaby Bayona got her start in the bridal industry in an unconventional way. Bayona’s mother was a seamstress and she brought Gaby to work with her, this is where she learned her passion for design. At 18, Gaby was creating prom dresses using blush, ivory and gold. The dresses were receiving a greater response from brides than from high school students. This is when she realized that she could bring something innovative and fresh to the bridal industry.
Truvelle dresses are made completely in house in their Vancouver flagship store. The unique designs are also sold at boutiques worldwide. We are so excited to offer these modern designs at Juno!
